The second season for the Farmer's Market of East Jerusalem opens June 4, 2011.  This year farmers will be able to take SNAP (food stamps) EBT cards thanks to the State and USDA supplying farmer's with FREE EBT machines.

400 Senior Nutrition Vouchers will also be available to low income Seniors (five vouchers at $5 each) for purchases of fresh fruit and vegetables from the Farmer's Market. 

WIC (Women, Infant and Children) vouchers worth $15 will also be available for families to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at the Market.
