In addition to restoring the center green for community use, we are working to revitalize Ajo’s historic plaza that has 60,000 square feet of vacant commercial space. Three new businesses have opened so far and we are recruiting others. Send any restless, creative entrepreneurs of any age our way please!

We are about to launch the Ajo Cooks! program to foster a new cultural food niche in Ajo microenterprises. Primary participants are grandmother and daughter teams—no doubt, some granddaughters will also be involved!
